Aldi identified a requirement to develop and strengthen their RDC transport management team and requested Davies & Robson's logistics recruitment expertise to support them in achieving this improvement.
Using a tailored recruitment programme of candidate sourcing and evaluation, Davies & Robson were able to provide a selected number of pre-qualified candidates for interview from which the required appointments were effectively placed.
The process used a range of targeted candidate sourcing methods. Candidates were screened and filtered using Davies & Robson's specialist knowledge of logistics and management recruitment. Aldi's own competency tests were also integrated into the process.
By designing and managing the process Davies & Robson were able to maximise the quality of potential candidates and focus the hiring manager’s time on the final selection stage.
The managed process model also proved cost effective compared to the standard agency recruitment structure.
