Following a successful executive search managed by Davies & Robson Recruitment, Devizes-based brewer, Wadworth, has recently appointed Jon Grellier as its new Head of Distribution, with responsibility for all outbound product movements.
Our logistics consultancy managed the process alongside Charles Bartholomew, Chairman of Wadworth who was pleased with our approach, understanding of the brief, and the strength and breadth of the shortlist that led to Jon’s appointment.
Jon was formerly with leading drinks wholesaler, WaverleyTBS and brings with him a wealth of on-trade distribution experience. In this thriving, but competitive sector, he brings to this key role knowledge of the industry’s working practices and the challenges of balancing cost and service across a wide estate of customers with varied requirements.
Jon is enjoying working with the team to develop an improved offering for Wadworth customers through operational changes and the application of technology to the scheduling of vehicles.
