Waitrose & Partners became part of the John Lewis Partnership in 1937, when there were only 10 shop. Operating 348 shops across England, Scotland, Wales and the Channel Islands, including 61 convenience branches and a further 27 Welcome Break locations, Waitrose has grown into one of the largest British supermarket.
Waitrose appointed a new Head of Distribution following a search and selection process managed by John Cashmore of Davies & Robson.
"Davies & Robson were selected to manage this search specifically for their specialist supply chain and logistics knowledge. The short list produced for the role demonstrated a strong understanding of the brief and a good feel for our business culture.
The service provided by Davies & Robson was professional. As a customer, we were kept informed through regular updates and the process has delivered a strong candidate; one who has the experience to meet the challenges of delivering the exceptional levels of service required by Waitrose, as the business expands.
We would use Davies & Robson search and selection services again."
