Background

Dunlop Aircraft Tyres is the only specialist manufacturer and retreader of aircraft tyres, supplying airframe constructors, airlines, maintenance repair and overhaul organisations, military users and its own network of authorised distributors.

Challenge

The company manufacturers and retreads nearly 400 SKU's. Since being acquired by AAC Capital Partners, growth has been achieved not only in the number of tyres sold but also in geographical coverage.

Project

Our logistics consultancy was appointed by Dunlop to review its supply chain operations to ensure they could meet the current and future challenges of the continuing global expansion of its customer base. As a result of successfully completing the project on time and within budget, we were invited to project manage the implementation of the proposed changes.
