Founded over 20 years ago, Funko is a private equity owned American business. Items manufactured include licensed pop culture toys, vinyl figurines, bobbleheads and apparel. It is the third largest owner of media licences that include Star Wars and Harry Potter. Turnover is c$½bn.

PROJECT

The rapid growth of the European sector had led to a requirement for someone to report directly to the VP of International Business, leading all European Logistics both operationally and strategically; developing a fit for purpose, world class, logistics operation to meet the challenge of growth.

RESULT

With an imminent systems implementation, and the upcoming crucial peak, the selection process for Funko required the rapid identification of a particular individual to fulfil this key role.

Following intensive executive research a strong candidate with senior level multichannel retail logistics experience was identified and appointed.
