Huboo is a fast growing, VC backed, e-fulfilment provider. A new start-up that has seen spectacular growth, Huboo provides logistics services for online retail businesses; predominantly businesses that trade using platforms such as e-Bay. Their operating and revenue volumes continue to double each month.
The Head of Operations was the first key appointment reporting to the board. The individual sought would need experience of a similar fast-paced operation and leading teams under pressure in an environment of rapid change. As well as ensuring operational efficiency and performance, they would need to set up internal processes for communications with Sales and IT, as well as monitoring capacity and planning for growth.
This position required a niche skill set and crucially a character well suited to leading in a fast-growing and changing operating environment. Following thorough research and selection, the first crucial senior management appointment to the business was made.
